Challenge

Aveda Canada showcases their brand every year at live hair and fashion shows. Each time, they want to elicit an emotional response from the audience. Live motion graphics need to complement the experience without pulling focus from the main event—the models and hairdressers. I collaborated with Aveda Team Canada for over a decade to bring their vision to life at many different shows and venues.

Solution

Each show tells a story that connects to the broader theme of the event. Through a blend of video, still imagery, typography, graphics, narration, and music, we create moments of tension, emotion, and joy—while spotlighting the hairdressers and models on stage.

Outcome

For Aveda Canada, each show helps increase brand awareness, recruitment and sales. Impactful visual storytelling left a lasting impression on audiences and supported the incredible work of the hairdressers being showcased.
