Aveda Canada showcases their brand every year at live hair and fashion shows. Each time, they want to elicit an emotional response from the audience. Live motion graphics need to complement the experience without pulling focus from the main event—the models and hairdressers. I collaborated with Aveda Team Canada for over a decade to bring their vision to life at many different shows and venues.

Each show tells a story that connects to the broader theme of the event. Through a blend of video, still imagery, typography, graphics, narration, and music, we create moments of tension, emotion, and joy—while spotlighting the hairdressers and models on stage.

I worked closely with the Aveda Canada Creative Director to provide visual design, motion graphics, and video editing. These were complex projects due the large scale and custom layouts of the of the screens on stage. I first worked with Aveda Canada as an in-house designer for Collega International, then as a freelancer and finally as a member of Four Nine Digital.
